Scot McBrian is playing games
Scot McBrian’s game of controlling the Superintendent position for SUSD is beyond disturbing. It’s enough to remove him from the Board of Trustees. In the days leading up to Superintendent Deasy’s resignation last spring, Scot McBrian was leading the board behind-the-scenes to force Deasy from office. A whistleblower has shared with us a text message exchange with Trustee Cecilia Mendez. The message reveals how McBrian was in communication with Cecilia Mendez as the message for removing Deasy. It also reveals that McBrian was no fan of Brian Biedermann who had been promoted to principal under Deasy.

But, after McBrian failed to execute Anthony Silva’s directive to install Jack McLaughlin as the new head of SUSD, Biedermann became the chosen replacement.
Yesterday, Families for a Better School Board received a new message from a third SUSD whistleblower telling us that Trustee McBrian provided interim Superintendent Biederman with the questions for his interview so that he would be given the interim Superintendent position.
